The Implications of Style: 5 Wardrobe Mistakes You’re Making Right Now

Believe it or not, what you wear says a lot about who you are. It tells the world how you view yourself and can even show were you think you’re headed in the next 10 years.

Here’s the thing, as a young man growing up I was always taught to be neat and well put together, but not to pay too much attention to the clothes I wore on a daily basis. The result was a chubby kid never caring anything about style, wearing clothes 2 sizes too big to hide my…well everything…and developing habits that carried over into my early twenties.

Fast forward 6 years later, 40 pounds lighter and I’m finally getting a handle on this men’s fashion concept. See what I learned was, you have to care about the clothes you wear. Because either way, they’re going to say something about you.

Name brand or no name brand. Made in Italy or China. It doesn’t matter as long as you’re using style to say what you want to say and feel how you want to feel.

You’re wardrobe is a collection of who you are, who you think you are and who you want to be. We’re going to take out the negatives, insert the positives and create a collection that celebrates who you are and prepares you for who you want to be.

The Everything Guide to Dress Boots

Just a few years ago the very idea of dress boots would have seemed out of place, if not outright weird. Not anymore.

I remember going to church when I was a kid and wearing a pair of black boots with my slacks because I couldn’t find my dress shoes. At the time my mother was furious with me but I couldn’t help to think they looked WAY better than my boring oxfords.

Apparently, that viewpoint is now very much accepted in the fashion community. And with that said, it’s come to our attention that every gentleman should know when to wear, how to wear and to what to wear dress boots with.

Especially because it becomes obvious this fashion trend that began at the end of the Victorian era is not a trend at all, but a style staple that’s here to stay.

What Exactly are Dress Boots?

Good question. Dress boots are distinctly different from outdoor boots in a few ways. One way is that they are not as readily made to be used outdoors. The best dress boot is actually a dress shoe with an extended upper portion to cover the ankles. They are made in a very similar way to dress shoes.

habits of millionaire entrepreneurs

You may think that in order to start a successful business you need to have everything in order; a business loan, an office, a staff of in house marketers and maybe even an assistant. Well sorry to burst your bubble but it rarely happens that way.

2. Be Consistent

“Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.” – Robert Collier

The problem with success is that it doesn’t happen overnight. Without being consistent in your efforts you miss out on your opportunity of success. Pat Flynn creator of is the poster boy for consistency and posts his monthly earnings online every month (October earnings $120,217.15).

Being that most of his monthly income comes from his daily continuous efforts in digital marketing, search engine optimization, back linking, and pod casts; He would never have gotten where he is today without consistency.

3. Work smart, but never be afraid to work hard

The main goal of any business person is to make money. Making money fast through get rich quick schemes never work out. At best the money you make is at the cost of exploiting someone else’s ignorance and at worst it could mean doing something illegal.
